F1-radoilla rikotaan viikonloppuna 1000 kilpailun merkkipaalu.

Sauberilla on uraansa aloitellut Kimin lisäksi mm. Sebastian Vettel. Sauberilla on ajanut myös Jyrki Järvilehto eli JJ Lehto.

Tästä kaikki lähti liikkeelle, 1950-luvun alkuvuosina:

“9 out of 999” - Milestone #2?? · ???? 1951, Race 15: Alfas Juan Manuel Fangio won four out of eight races and took the championship against a very strong Ferrari team. · Before, during WW2, the Alfettas were hidden in farms not far from Milan (Melzo and Abbiategrasso) to avoid bombings. Once, the German army tried to find them but they were placed under a woodpile so big that they decided to surrender. ? · The compressors of the Alfettas started having problems as the fuel was corroding them. Fuel suppliers weren’t able to solve the problem, but an Alfa Romeo technician discovered that adding a small quantity of water was enough to limit the corrosion process: since the beginning of the championship Alfa Romeo team used to add the “secret additive”. The 158 and 159 engines never failed due compressor problems and the solution was revealed only in 1975! ???????? · #AlfaRomeoLegacy #Race1000 #GetCloser
