Blackie Lawless ja W.A.S.P. Golgatan tunnelmissa
Perjantaina Sweden Rockissa esiintynyt heavy rock -veteraani W.A.S.P. julkaisee Golgotha-nimisen albumin ensi vuoden alussa.
Bändipomo Blackie Lawlessin mukaan levyä on tehty jo neljän vuoden ajan mutta nyt albumi on valmis "parin viikon kuluttua".
Luvassa on parin edellisen W.A.S.P.-albumin kaltaista materiaalia mutta tekstit ovat levyn nimen mukaan etsineet innoitusta mielenkiintoisesta lähteestä. Golgatan suunnalta löytyy ristiinnaulitun Jeesuksen lisäksi paljon kuolemaa.
-"Golgotha" is Hebrew for place of the skull, and it's the hill where Christ was crucified. And it's interesting, when you see a lot of bands going around using Satanic images or images of death and things like that, and I'm thinking, all they need to do is look at the source, 'cause it's right there. I mean, if you want death, there's enough to go around there.
